Low Back Pain

Are you suffering from Back Pain?

Anyone who has experienced back pain knows that it can be horrible and disabling. Back pain is also a major cause of lost productivity and absenteeism, approximately 80% of Australians will experience an episode of acute back pain where they will need to take some time off from work and unfortunately quite a number of these sufferers will experience a re-exacerbation. There is strong evidence supporting early physio to help manage and overcome both acute and chronic back pain which can have a complex presentation of contributing factors.

Depending on the nature of your back problem will then determine the optimal management. Your physio will provide a thorough assessment to help treatment planning which may include specific exercises, dry needling, hydrotherapy, manual and soft tissue therapies, bracing/ taping, as well as activity advice and referral where indicated. Selecting the best exercises for your particular presentation is a critical part of us helping you overcome your back pain and ideally prevent it from returning. We also are proud to offer the latest cutting edge technology for back and neck conditioning with our Get Back program.
